• Images you choose to save as part of a scrap (if applicable)

The extension does not collect selected text via a context menu feature.

• Save and display your scraps within the extension UI
• Let you organize and manage saved items (e.g., edit/delete)
• Remember your local preferences and settings

Storage, Sharing, and Transfers

• Local storage only: Shop Scrap stores data locally in your browser (for example, using chrome.storage and/or IndexedDB).
• No server transmission: Shop Scrap does not send your scraps, URLs, images, or settings to any external server.
• No sale or sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
• No third-party analytics: We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs to collect your data.

Extension Permissions

Shop Scrap may request permissions that are necessary to operate on product pages and to store your scraps locally. Permissions are used only to enable the features of the extension and are not used to collect or transmit data externally.

Data Retention

Data is retained on your device until you delete it.

• You can delete individual scraps within the extension.
• You can remove all extension data by uninstalling the extension (browser-managed local storage is removed as part of uninstall).

Security

Because your data is stored locally, its security depends primarily on your device and browser environment. We recommend keeping your browser and operating system up to date.

Children’s Privacy

Shop Scrap is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
